DOI and Metadata Policy
- IJDST assigns a unique Digital Object Identifier (DOI) to each eligible published article through its authorized DOI registration agency.
- Each article shall have one unique DOI, and the same DOI shall not be assigned to another publication.
- Once registered, a DOI shall remain permanently associated with the article and shall not be reused or reassigned.
- Every DOI shall resolve to a stable and accessible article landing page containing the article's complete bibliographic information.
- IJDST shall maintain accurate and complete DOI metadata, including article title, author names, affiliations, ORCID IDs where available, abstract, keywords, journal title, ISSN, volume, issue, publication date, page/article number, references, licensing and funding information where applicable.
- DOI metadata shall be deposited with the authorized DOI registration agency and updated whenever necessary to maintain accuracy and consistency.
- DOI information shall be displayed clearly on the article webpage, PDF, issue page, and citation information.
- The Editorial Office shall verify DOI registration, DOI resolution, landing-page accessibility, and metadata accuracy before or at the time of publication.
- Any errors in article metadata shall be corrected and updated promptly. The DOI itself shall normally remain unchanged.
- Corrections, retractions, and expressions of concern shall retain the original article DOI and be appropriately linked to the published record.
- IJDST shall maintain DOI landing pages and associated metadata when the journal website, hosting platform, or article URL changes.
- DOI registration shall not be represented as evidence of Scopus, Web of Science, or any other indexing status.
- IJDST shall follow the applicable requirements and recommendations of its DOI registration agency and recognized scholarly publishing standards.
