Periodic health check-ups play a crucial role in early detection, prevention, and management of age-related diseases, thereby improving quality of life and life expectancy. The present study aims to assess the level of knowledge regarding the importance of periodic health check-ups among elderly people in the Bangalore city urban area and to determine the association between knowledge levels and selected demographic variables. A descriptive research design was adopted for the study. A total of 300 randomly selected individuals from Bangalore urban area were included based on predefined inclusion criteria.
